Thule Ski Rack

Finding the Best Thule Ski Rack

With Thule Racks and Thule Mounts
Roof racks have come a long way in the last decade. A Thule ski rack makes getting your skis and snowboards onto the roof and up to the mountain and back securely, a breeze now. Sure on a tall vehicle you are going to have to open the door and stand on the door sills to close the rack, but that’s not as hard as trying to lash them all down with rope.
It takes just a few seconds to load up 4 snowboards or 6 pairs of skis, snap the Thule ski rack closed, lock it and be on your way.
My favorite things about Thule racks is the big release button, that even my gloved finger can open, and the included locking system. You want to be able to stop and get a bit to eat and not have to worry if your gear is secure, With Thule racks, you’ll not have to worry!

Thule Mounts

Unless you have factory fitted roof bars on your vehicle, you will need to also purchase a Thule Mount to be able to attach your ski rack (or other Thule accessory) to your vehicle.
So before you choose your ski rack, be sure to consider what will also work for carrying your other recreational items. With Thule you can carry lots of things on your vehicle, such as bikes, canoes, kayaks, skis, snowboards, cargo and luggage.

Best Ski Rack | Thule 91726 | Thule 6 Ski Rack

Universal Ski Rack and for my money the Best Ski Rack

The most outstanding featuring of the Thule 91726 Universal Pull Top 6 Pair Ski and Snowboard Carrier with Locks is the slide outs that let the roof rack come closer to you, which makes loading and unloading much easier. Once open and extended, you can stand beside the vehicle and just pick up the items you want. When you’re done, slide the sliders back into place, click them into position, bring the arms down to snap shut, turn the key in the lock and you’re done. Easy!
So easy to use, carries 4 snowboards and 6 pairs of skis – that’s why this rack gets my vote for Best Ski Rack!
